The search engine pulls-up strips that contain any
of the words you submitted. To require a word to appear in every result, put a plus symbol(+) in front of it. (ex:
+gopher +flower will pull up the strips that contain
both Gopher and Flower.)
Words must be at least four characters long. Anything shorter is ignored. Sorry, that’s they way the MySQL database
configuration wants it.
If you’re looking for an exact phrase, try surrounding the words in quotes. (ex: "skinny hero"
pulls-up only those strips where skinny and hero appear attached to
each other.)
Use the minus symbol(-) in front of words you want to avoid. (ex: gopher -flower will
pull-up strips that contain Gopher but not Flower.)
Keep in mind that the search engine searches through titles, transcripts and extra keywords (ex: Robokitty
might be an extra keyword if he appeared in a strip but didn’t say anything.)
